American Clearinghouse on Educational Facilities: Student Lockers, or Not: From my experiences from the last 16 years in public education there is no place for student lockers within school. It is too tempting for a student to bring, conceal, and distribute contraband out of their locker. Most students in this day and age carry backpacks with all of their materials in it. I also agree with the post about the use of technology such as ipads or even laptops distributed by districts for students to use instead of textbooks. I don't see this anytime soon coming with budget cuts across the state. I would like to see what everyone else thinks.
